“Women Are Powerful” was created in honor of Assata Shakur and Angela Davis 2 very powerful black women during The Black Panther Party era. Two women who believed that being front and center of the fight for civil rights and justice as women would lead to freedom and respect for us as well as our male counterparts. Women who made their voices heard which paved the way for us to be strong and fearlessly vocal today . In honor of Women’s History Month I honor these women. Thank you! For the Culure.
